Welcome to Rowan Class!
Rowan Class is a nurturing, supportive and engaging learning environment where every child is encouraged to develop their independence, resilience and social skills. We learn through play, exploration and hands-on experiences, both indoors and outdoors. We enjoy sensory activities, cooking, forest school, creative projects, practical learning challenges and celebrating the successes of every pupil, no matter how big or small.
A little bit about me
Outside of school, I enjoy spending time with my friends, reading, and exploring new places. One interesting fact about me is that I have climbed 8 mountains.
I believe that every child can succeed when they feel safe, understood and supported. I am passionate about helping children to build confidence, develop positive relationships and discover their strengths, while ensuring that every child feels valued, safe and successful.
I understand that school can feel challenging for some children, especially if they have had difficult experiences in the past. In Rowan Class, we focus on building trust, creating positive experiences and helping children learn that school can be a place where they belong, have fun and achieve great things.
I am looking forward to an exciting year ahead and sharing our learning journey with you. Please check back regularly to see what we have been learning and celebrating together.
Below you will find our Learning Maps, which outline the exciting learning taking place in Maple Class throughout the year. From engaging topics and creative activities to key knowledge and skills, these maps provide a window into your child's learning each half term.
We hope you enjoy exploring them and using them as a starting point for conversations about school, achievements and new discoveries.
